Quick Chinese Astrology Insight
According to Chinese Astrology, 2020 was the "Year of the Metal Rat.” In hindsight, it was very fitting for this year’s global events. The Rat is known for its clever and cunning analytical mind. The Rat can also get lost in a maze when focusing in the wrong direction or has a tendency to get caught in the wheel of repetition.
The Metal element influences our Lungs and our Voice. The Lungs are our first line of defense to illnesses. When one does not share their thoughts, the energy can get stuck and can compromise the body’s immune response. Now is the time to speak your truth as this Chinese New Year comes to a close.
February 12th will be the "Year of The Metal Ox." The Ox is about moving and pushing forward, seeing the rewards of what we have previously sewn. With fresh energy and eyes, it is a great year to start new ventures.
PRACTICE UPDATES
Fees
My fees have been updated to reflect Fair Market Value based on industry averages. All current appointments for January and any outstanding gift cards will be honored as is. Packages may be pre-purchased at a discounted rate. Additionally, I offer a Reduced Rate Form for those without the resources to be seen otherwise.
Transitions
My work as a practitioner will be pivoting solely to advanced healing modalities. I offer Acupuncture, Spiritual Care, and Intuitive Guidance, some of which can be completed remotely. A massage therapist with 10 years of experience has been invited to work at the Vine Street Clinic for patients that request only manual therapy. Details will be finalized in the coming months.
Scheduling
Online booking is a more efficient way for you to view my complete schedule and reduce 'floating' text messages. Please text me for specific accommodations when they cannot be supported by the online booking system. I plan to adjust my schedule based on need.
Cleaning
Continuing limited availability will reduce exposure risk and allow time for proper sanitization. Cleaning takes a minimum of 30 minutes per individual session.  Every contact surface and item exposed is sanitized.
Cancel/Closures
It is my responsibility to offer a safe space, despite the risk of revenue loss. A precautionary quarantine is needed when a patient comes into the office after traveling within 14 days AND/OR has symptoms (even minor symptoms, such as allergies). If you have had ANY travel, exposure, symptoms, or feel unwell PLEASE cancel immediately using the link in your confirmation text. Late cancel fees have been temporarily waived.
Thank You
I want you to know how much I appreciate the opportunity to have served you in recent years. I would love the opportunity to help support you in your goals moving into 2021.2021 Hermit’s Point Medicine Service Rates

Dry needling is a limited form of Acupuncture offered by Physical Therapists and Chiropractors in which a needle is inserted into a "Trigger Point" to stimulate and release a muscle.
In Chinese medicine, these are called "Ashi" (pr. 'Au-sher')Â Points.
Although it is legal for a PT or Chiropractor to practice Dry Needling in many states, it is often provided with minimal training. Dry Needling is utilized as a Continuing Education class with the following requirements.2-Day Onsite Course CEUs

"It is not what happens to us that determines our reality, it is how we interpret it. We have control over our perceptions, decisions and actions - not so much outer events. What we may initially see as a challenge, a setback, or a pain, or terrible can later turn out to be a turning point in our lives.
Even in that moment opportunity emerges for those that look. But why have the wisdom of the ages with the aging process when we can look at our challenge with new eyes and discover the other side of the perceptual equation and discover a meaning at first missed without the aging process. If you never look and you just keep running the story of being a victim of outer circumstances you delay the discovery of the opportunity to be a master. Every event has two sides.
Wisdom is discovering the whole and objective not the part and subjective only. Our resilience and adaptability is remarkable once we ask the wise questions and extract our a deeper meaning out of our apparent chaos. So, in turn, our terrific experiences have another side and the wise individual does not become carried away by outer appearances and recenters themselves with poise.
Just because we have not looked for and seen the two sides of the equation does not mean they are not synchronously there for our learning and growth."
